Two observations:
- the study guides for the Desktop and the Distributed differ by only 6 items. I assume fromt this that there will be overlap in the content.
- my VB Exam Cram books also have an overlap. The desktop is more about the VB language while the distrib is more about how to design solutions.
I think your strategy is fine, be sure not to let the distrubted blow your confidence if you do poorly.
But since you are involved in study group you will ace the exam. :-)

>I've never taken one of these exams before. I'm not sure how I'll react to the online testing. Assuming that I'm guaranteed to fail the distributed, since all I've ever done is with native Fox tables, and that I *might* have a chance at the desktop, my thinking is that I should take the distributed exam at the first possible moment. This will let me see what these tests are like, and show me a lot of material that might be on the desktop in a simpler incarnation. Then I'll take the desktop at the last possible moment, allowing myself the maximum amount of time to prepare.
