Larry,

How are you capturing the conversation? Routing it thru the soundcard or just using a microphone attached to the soundcard? I wouldn't recommend using a microphone if that's what you're doing. I wouldn't really recommed using most voice modems if you're doing something other than simple calling-machine calls either. If you're wanting a step-up from a Soundblaster type soundcard then you can go with a CT product from Dialogic which was recently acquired by Intel (www.dialogic.com) or someone like that. If you're looking at something beyond that then email me and I'll let you know of some products I know of in recording dispatch calls.
