Even if you are freelance or contract, add the image of corporate stability. If you were a company, looking for someone to write a specific app for you, or provide a custom solution, would you feel better contracting with

I understand what you are saying with the independance statement, but maybe a prospective client may not. As the independant, it can be real tough to find new contracts. Try to eliminate as many excuses that prospective client may have.

The prospective client is looking for the best for the least. They all are. To them, the best is not just the best app.
They want..

The best app
Service
Followup
Stability
Warrenty/Guarantee
Future enhancements.

You know you can supply all of that for them, but do they?
