The wife was the most "unsmooth" part at first..<g>
Even though she hated the corporate leash, she liked the corporate security. Took almost a year before she understood..<g>

Then I hired her to work for me. Then she REALLY liked the concept.

As far as the transition goes, the hardest/longest period of time was getting the contact network up. Had a few ties to the corporate publishing world. But it slowly grew.

We now have 5 consultants on the Eastern seaboard. All "independant", but linked. They all work out of their own office, whether its on the street front or in their garage. The mean age is about 25. Just a bunch of "punk youngin's".
