msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro has lots of client/server papers well worth reading. Want to experiment? Order and install MSDE if you have Visual Studio 6. It's a mini-SQL Server that you can use to experiment with SQL Passthrough and remote views. Or, try to open and access an Access table if you have that installed.
