I have the following problem:

In a network are two or more pc's that run VFP-programs. I want to send commands from one application to another application but that application runs on a different machine.

Now I use shared DBF's, but I think that there must be a way that's more professional (and faster).

The problem is that I don't know which road I must follow (DCOM perhaps?). I would like to use only Visual FoxPro 5/6, but probably that isn't enough...
