Hello all,

I have a couple of multi-user apps running as exe's. The exe's are presently located on the network server, as is the data.

My question is, does anyone know if my apps will run faster if the exe is on the workstations. The data will always be on the server, so that won't change.

Our network connection is fairly fast, and a couple of the workstations are 486's or older Pentium's. So, conversely, would the exe run slower if it was located on these workstations?

And if it would be faster to have the exe's on the individual workstations, what is the best way to set that up, as far as ease of maintenance, etc, goes.

Any thoughts?
