I think that you had a great summary on the differences.

I'm looking forward to a non FPA run event. Too much pollitics in the past that I have heard of 4th or 5th hand. I'm not making a living in the 3rd party arena so it doesn't effect me like it does others.

Having a cross over to SQL could be great or a RPITA, schedule depending.

I could take a train down to the conference and that would be different than a plane so I opt for a change of transportation. Heck it's only a bit over 6 hours to drive but I'd rather take the train.
