Last week Delta had a promo for their newly designed Olympic planes - a single flight from SLC to Atlanta for $20.02. I was going to get on it, but getting myself from Atlanta to SLC was going to cost upwards of $800.
Too bad it would have been fun. I've only done a layover in SLC. Never seen much of it.

>>>Seriously, though, it's not a bad idea. It's been frequently proposed on similar threads that DevCons should be in more central locations like Memphis, St Louis, wherever, so Indy is not a bad idea.

>>Of course it's not a bad idea! I thought of it! And I think Paul is right in his response to you. It might draw in people who otherwise skip it because of cost.
>>
>>I hope that the DevCon team will consider a more central location to have it in 2001.

>We're one of the major hubs for Delta and we're an international airport, and we've lots of beer brewing joints (the locals don't make a big moise about it though! *G*), great snow!, and, of course, the Olympics which only proves that if Microsoft can come up with the dough we'll do anything. *G*
