For both database management (Rushmore, et al.) and the development environment (visual OOP), VFP kicks tail. Add to that, it's semi-scalable (semi because you have to use an ODBC filter) to use data servers and it is now part of the Visual Studio (don't laugh, please). I just can't understand why anyone would use anything else, unless it's to support a legacy app. Even then, with import filters and odbc dll's, I'd still lean towards VFP, regardless of the situation. Just my 2 cents Matt
