It will take alot more code to do client\server with VB\ADO and not be as flexible as FoxPro either. Doing client\server the right way with VB means hardcoding everything (i.e, binding controls, SQL updates and inserts, ect.)

Also, VFP's native data access to SQL Server may be slightly faster than VB\ADO because you are not going through the extra COM layer.
