>I'm currently using the DDE protocols to communicate between 3 VFP5.0 apps (and a Visual C++ app) running on a Windows95 machine. This works just fine. Unfortunately, I have to move a couple of these apps to another machine networked to the first. It would be preferable to use the general Win95 network as opposed to WinNT.

Is there a Win95 version of the same program ? I've currently got an older version for use with Windows for Workgroups. This may work but I'd rather use something newer.

Watch your DDE Server side. DDE will not handle some operations in VFP if I remember right (it's been awhile). VFP 5 is the only one that can be an OLE Server. I prefer OLE to DDE since in DDE each manufacturer interprets their own set of DDE implementations.
