Do what? Use an icon to represent the contents of a General field?

>I'm using Append General to put a Word.doc in my table's general field. On the form, I have a Page Frame that I only want to display the icon for the .doc I have an Oleboundcontrol When you do it manually, you can Insert Object, Create From File, and choose the option to Display as Icon. Can you do this with Append General? If not, is there a way to do it programmatically?
