I'm in need of help on a multi-user data problem that was discovered this past week.

I have 3 forms all with private datasession and all using the same tables set to optimistic buffering. The 3 forms call each other and show detail records related to the parent record on the previous form.

The forms work great and a single user can go in and see/change everything just fine. But, when multi-users start viewing the same data, weird things happen. A two users can both be on the middle form, then 1st user goes into the 3rd form and changes the detail records, saves and drops back to the middle form. The 2nd user goes into the same 3rd form looking for the data changed by the other user and it shows how it was before the 1st user made any changes. If the 2nd user drops all the way out of the 1st form then goes back in to the 3rd form, he/she can see the changed information. Record locking is working so that if any user tries to edit a record being changed by another user, then the system prevents it with an appropriate error message.

This shows on NT server. I have not tried it on Novell. If I test multi-user problem on a stand-alone pc running the app more than once, no problem occurrs.

Anyway, I've put flush and unlock all commands everywhere with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
