You can simulate what you are asking by using two pageframes. One has two pages and no tabs and is full form. The other has your current pageframe on page1 and the search stuff on page2. Now in the outer pageframe you have the form come up with page1 as the active page, you can disable page2 so it doesn;t pop up accidentally. Give the user a way to tell you they want to search, when they do you enable page2 of the outer pageframe and set the pagaframes activepage property to 2. When they are finished with the searching you simply make the activepage of the outer pageframe 1 and disable page 2 again.
