I have identified an interesting (and most painful problem) with remote views.
I have a fairly large DBC with a lot of views linked to a SQL back end, in my office everything seems fine. when I go to transfer changes to my beta tester the views suddenly don't work.
The problem is that somehow the properties for the fields in the view have changed, for example from char to datetime, this of course causes huge problems with SQL server.
I originally thought it might have somethign to do with parmaterised views but since have encountered the problem with a basic view as well.
Wandering if anybody has seen a similar problem and if there is a solution
