First of all, It's nice to have ! it enables you to write visual objects to respond when the mouse if over it. For example the toolbarbuttons of the internet explorer.

This can be programmed with the help of timers, but this is clumsy and doesn't work in all cases (timers don't work in a toolbar). Therefore it would be handy to have the described events.
