In many respects, yes, it is superior. VFP has it's advantages. However, most of those are really pegged to a specific class of application. Right now, I am working on a small web application for AAA Midatlantic. It is ASP based using VB components in MTS. I am using and implementing OO concepts just fine. I could not leverage VFP's strengths here, so I opted not to use it...

What are you looking to gain???
