Do you really need a horizontal scrollbar, it wraps the text, so no data is out of view, if you make it wide enough maybe they wont even notice the difference. I guess in Dan's case it was really important to have a horizontal scrollbar, heck sometimes it's fun to do things like that just for the challenge of it.

The problem is not really how many lines, but how wide is each line.
