What's wrong with tis code?

I have a form with a field textbox with the name txtC_Codigo, and in the lostfocus event i want to test if the key exist, and i return the error 'data type mismatch'.

Chave=ThisForm.txtC_codigo
seek Chave

if clientes.c_codigo=Chave
wait window

endif

Another question...

Why with the wizbtns.vcx butons in add mode the enter key does not funtion to jump field to a field in the base form but if a have a pageframe in the form it work's in the pageframe?
