What is the control source of txtC_codigo? If it is clients.c_codigo, could this be happening: you type in a key, the key is saved into the table, you then check to see if the key exists, by doing a seek on the key you just entered into the table so of course the seek wil pass? Where is the code stored that you posted? Erik, does this sound possible?
