You can do this now with Rick's wwIPSTUFF routines and/or Web Connection to transfer dbf result sets from a VFP server component back to your client over the net (Internet or Intranet), as you quoted from his article. wwXML can do the same with XML (translation needed at both ends).

What else is lacking for the solution you are seeking?
