Title:
Printing from 2.6 Dos through Windows 95
We use an "organically" grown manufacturing/admin foxpro 2.6 program that runs in a DOS windows under WIN 95.
We print to local printers or a nerwork printers either directly with hardcoded lines (set printer on; @ say....) or wia REPORT FORM (without any printer driver selected).
In all cases it takes a looong time before the printing starts. I take it that there is a signal missing that would tell Windows that it is OK to start printing and that Windows instead waits for a time-out signal of some sort.
Any ideas how to speed this up?
Thank you in advance.
