Is a lot of cases the assign event does not fire on VFP native properties. If they're changed by some UI action the event may not fire. Only if the value was assigned bij programmable code it may fire.

IMHO, this issue should be fixed. OTOH i don't know if this was by design and if it's possible to fix this problem
