One of my clients likes to take .dbf files and .cdx files and compress them using Winzip and then e-mail them to a branch office. Has anyone noticed that doing this corrupts the .dbf file. Several times we have encountered corrupt .dbf files. Some of the .dbf files are 10 MB when uncompressed. Could emailing the compressed files be corrupting the .dbf files?

Any help is appreciated.
