Heh, heh. You haven't had extended conversations with users who very often don't understand what we mean by "add," "edit," "default." Especially "default." When I made an application for my Mom, I told her how I'd set it up to fill in a default value for her...thinking she'd be pleased. She just looked at me blankly and said: "'default' means to not pay your loan. What in the world do you mean by 'default'." She had me there. :)

Your users are not you. And not all users need the same thing in their UI.
