Eric-

I hear you that your frustrated, but do you want to just vent (sometimes necessary :) or do you want to tell us some technical details?

FWIW, I'm in the States, and if I reboot only once a day, I'm thrilled. < s>

I've noticed that when I'm running a lot of apps or am developing in VFP using the Class Browser, I crash a lot. I also have narrowed it down to possibly having something to do with the timer I use to keep track of my work (QuickBooks Pro Timer). I have 256 of RAM, but since I'm still in 98SE, it doesn't really matter...I run out of resources.

The class browser problems seem to be partly resources (it has a massive impact on resources, I've found) and partly when I'm testing stuff and don't have good garbage collection techniques. I try to RELEASE ALL often, and that has helped.

So, what O/S are you using? What apps are you running when you crash? What have you tried?

>Every two hours or so I get blue screen. Every 3 hours or so I get "Program performed illegal operation" , I can't stay logged into MS Inet sites long enough to get 10% of a servicepack of anykind, and when I was typing this message my browser hung for 1 minute. I hope you guys in the US are happy cause we ain't.
