I have a form that is using a table with Pessimistic Row Buffering. If the user adds a new record or edits an existing record so that the uniqueness of the index is violated, why doesn't this error trigger when I issue the TABLEUPDATE()? Instead it triggers when I move the record pointer (GO TOP)in the method I use to determine the first and last record. Any suggestions?
