If you have the luxury of time for the evaluation, then I would heartily recommend the book Advanced Object Oriented Programming with Visual FoxPro 6.0 (available at
www.hentzenwerke.com). It will give you a very good idea of how to get the most out of VFP and OO, as well some of the pitfalls and tradeoffs.
