Well, it gets done back at the web server, or by some component given the responsibility by the web server's handling of the url requested, but whether you call it business object or not I think is up for grabs.

I've seen charts that still try to show 3 tiers, but with the user-interface tier chopped in half, part in browser, part on server. That's the difference, I'm beginning to see, between logical tiers and physical tiers.
