From what I tried, I don't think so. I did the following:
USE MyView
Changed value of 5th field of 6 fields
? GETFLDSTATE(-1) Returned 111121
? TABLEUPDATE(1) Returned .T.
? SEEK(%index expression%,'MyTable') Returned .T.
? GETFLDSTATE(-1,'MyTable') Returned 111111
Any other thoughts?
>>Thanks for the reply Jason. I think I see how to use GETFLDSTATE() for the changes the current user has made but how would I use this to determine changes another user has made and TABLEUPDATEd before the current user could TABLEUPDATE()?

>From what I can tell with GETFLDSTATE, you can specify with parameters whether it's "looking" at a table or view, and if it's "pointed" at the base table, it should pick up anything that's been TABLEUPDATEd.
