Just a reminder to all (and addition to the above), if a negative step IS indicated and The first term is larger than the second, nothing will fire again.

Don't laugh, people may actually set up a statement like:

FOR x = -1 to ALEN() STEP -1

and ALEN returns 0, so nothing fires.
