was a feature to be built into Win2000 that would allow all or part of a server database to be cached in memory for performance gains. IMDB has been removed from the featuers list for the release version of Win2000. Its early incarnations were seen as late as Beta 3, but disappeared since then. Don't worry about it- it won't affect you for a while, and might never.
