>>I've tried setting the Grid properties: LinkMaster = Agency, RecordSource = Contacts,RelationalExp = agencycode; Column ControlSources to Contacts.positioncode (for Col1), and Contacts.personcode (rest of the Cols) and the Textbox ControlSource to Position.position, Person.first, etc. to no avail.

>Yes, as Mr. Berntson said, it would be a grid in grid. But, I feel it is fun to do. Actually, I learned how to do a grid-in-grid-in-grid. You need to create the most inner grid first. [KEEP A COPY OF IT.) Then, drop it into a column of the mother grid. Also, add a command button in the column to be used to blow up the column to the same size of the grid (also shirnk other colunm's width to 0). Then use the click event of the header of the blowed column to do the shirking and restore all other columns. Have fun!

I don't know Peter, if she's not even familiar with views that sounds like a pretty tall order. That's why I suggested trying to work the project with views, she might have to alter plans slightly but it will be much easier...
