No problem. I've been lumped, both correctly and wrongly, in a number of categories before. Actually, this thread has been very interesting to me and I really appreciate your taking the lumps. I'd be interested in the article to learn new things, not to find fault and give you a few more lumps. I've always said that as developers we need to use the right tool for the job. To this point, I haven't seen a need to use VB in the middle-tier because I could accomplish everything I needed with VFP, but I DO intetend to look much more closely at VB mid-tier objects in the near future.
