Okay, this is sounding more and more like some kind of a security violation. Check the setting of your Temporary Files file type in the Tools/Options/File Locations page.

Um, this might sound stupid, but have you logged off/rebooted and tried again?

Also, do you have a system administrator's login (different from your own) with the same privileges that you could try with this?

I'm scrambling in the dark a bit now, Mike, but that's what I'd be trying if I were faced with this.
