Thanks Mark. I was not able to duplicate this as well.
I have not used APPEND FROM DBF('CURSOR') for years because of problems I had back when using FP 2.6. It was a difficult problem to reproduce as you often did not know when FP would create its cursor entirely in memory. I have changed my code to use cursors and all seem to be OK so far.
