You answered my question about error 109 (record in use by another) a couple of weeks ago and it took me some time to try the suggestions.

They did not work, but I now think something else is going on. My error handling program insists that the error 109 is occurring on the code line "select ir" in the click method of a command button on a form called "dispatch". The error is being generated, however, when the user clicks on a check box in a grid on a form called by the command button in Dispatch.

In addition, the error is ocurring when only one instance of the program is running on one PC and no one else is using the file. Any further thoughts?
