Hi Jon,
When you say that you were able to 'select' the table into Crystal Reports successfully, what exactly do you mean? I have been using Crystal to run reports for over a year now, and it is not capable of accessing FoxPro tables natively with anything past FoxPro 2.6. In fact, Nigel Reburn has a great article in the November issue of FoxTalk entitled 'Using Crystal Reports 7 with VFP 6.' You might want to check it out.
As a test, simply CREATE a free table in VFP 6 with a dummy field, and try creating a crystal report based on that data table. When you select the dummy table, you will get the error: "temptable" could not be opened.
Hope that helps!
