Hi Mike,

>I tried with some success in my first article to use every trick I know about Rushmore to offset the grid's natural tendencies.

Tks I am using your functions.

I don't know why but it seems slow with table buffering,
When I am checking file ends after APPEND BLANK the CONTINUE in your Traverse function take 1 2 or more seconds. ?( index change ? )

Did you have a solution ?

Just a question ?

What Is the best way for you to SEEK a record on one field with a filter set to another field.

Sometimes it will be slow another fast.

I am using a QuickFill textbox in my search form and one second is to mutch when you type.

It seem's be more a rushmore initialisation problem than a seek problem ?

> Oswald Peterson (en?) wrote another article in which he built filtered indexes to get around the grid's design.

The main problem using this , is Table Buffering ( also in another datasession )

I am using a BROWSE in forms
The only problem is to handle the IN WINDOW.
I am using a FORM as container and add the GRID interface to the form.

So this form is able to replace actual grids with a BROWSE.
I am using custom Column, Header, Images, TextBox to fit code and handling specific need everthing is Ok.

Simply call my GRIDS with a Bridge reference.

I can give you more information about it if you want

Tks
Marcel
