Not just skip over it, it just goes straight to the next procedure.

The part it won't trace is in the main body of the program. The
trace just goes to the very first procedure below it and just
stays there while tracing (the part that says PROCEDURE MyProcedure1
for example). I can do STEPs, but it just stays on that line and
to any other part that is not part of the main body. HTH
