Yes, on the other side of my coin, we're running the 1st Win95 version here, and it's all full of patches and kind of "network buggy," and of course I have to reboot once or more per day working in vfp :) I think Win98 is great for home use, I personally prefer it best of the 3 (and it's about as stable as NT), but NT's certainly more suited for a LAN environment & security needs...Now that my vfp apps are running smoothly, I'll probably volunteer fairly soon to move my office to NT.

The one really serious problem with early 95 is the 2GB drive limit. With new 12GB machines & larger files in general, we're getting a real mess of drive installations and configurations and related problems...you have your C,D,E,F,G,H - and, oh look, there's finally 'I' left for the CD drive < s >

Like, your new app wants to install to C:\Program Files - "oops, no more room, where shall we put it?" This problem alone is forcing the move to NT...
