My ex-wife was a member of PETA for a while. Which is kind of funny since I an NRA member and would-be hunter (if I had the time...). Reading their propoganda mag was kind of scary. It struck me as almost a personality cult, as they were always talking up what the founder did this week, and how great he was, etc.
