If I drop a base grid on a form, set it's column count to something, (2 or whatever) set its controlsource to a table in the DE, and set it to ReadONly, and run the form, I can edit the contents of the grid, and my changes are saved. I have observed this behavior since VFP 5.0.
I don't know if its a bug or feature. My base class grid has code in the init that sets all of the columns to ReadOnly if the grid'd Readonly property is .T..
