It's not gotten _much_ worse; I still have problems around noon EST with UT just dropping out from under me. From brief conversations with Michel in the past, he thinks it's a bandwidth issue. He'd know best; I know things are going to drop out when the lower left frame fails to refresh properly - take whatever I'm working on, drop it in the clipboard, and hope I can log back in later. And the problem doesn't improve if I've got more bandwidth at my end.

Maybe it's time for us all to pony up a few pennies and hook up another two soup cans and a string between UT and the ISP. Traffic volume is certainly up.
