I have a shipping process that will print a BOL and a packing slip. BOL's are on pre-printed stock and are on the printer @ lpt1. There is plain stock in the other printer.

I have tried to use set printer to 'oki lpt1' but that job never is seen in the by the print spooler. The other printer 'oki lpt2' is the default printer.

I have found that our users should not be allowed to pick anything from a list. So issuing getprinter() is not recommended.

From a dos point of view I can dir >lpt1 or lpt2 and they work. You can print test pages to both too.

So I have to go back to the report and change the target printer? It is set for default.
