John, Hasn't AFP been on the market more than 3 years and just now making it's entrance into the US. Seems to me both West Wind and AFP are great products. I don't know that much about FoxWeb. I would encourage people to look at all and see what is best for them. All that are associated with a product are going to think it is the best on the market and push it, but does that really mean that the others are "same dog, with different fleas...". I would let the consumer decide. I like a product I can be up and running with in a few minutes that has the power of AFP. There is enough to learn in FoxPro without having a big learning curve. I don't have to learn a language to use it, but can use FoxPro that I am already a little familiar with.
John

Binding business logic in a layer that is meant for scripts seems to me to be a recipe for hardship down the road. And eventhough Rick was doing this a while ago, I think he would agree that is not the proper place for business logic.
