My use of the setup wizard is limited. I'm running SP3. Should I create a setup and not select PM Group (I suppose thats to get the application on Program Menu) the resulting install goes okay. Should the PM option be selected (w/o an icon or with an icon) and the command line is:%sMY.EXE, the subsequent install fails with a setup error:238, Object 7 not found, try running SETUP from where it was originally placed ..". Either I forgot how to do it, or something has changed w/SP 3.

The incomplete install creates the default directory and I see MSCREATE.DIR and a SETUP folder with SETUP.EXE in it. I've tried compressed (web), uncompressed and 1.4 disk with the same results.

Should I post-script an item to the PM?
