On the opposite side of the agreement/contract "coin", we have the responisbilities of the client to pay their bills.

In two years, we have only had one debt that was never collected, and only two that we had to go to court on, and one of them was filed yesterday :(

It is well worth finding a good attorney, and you don't need the "dream team", but don't get the "sleeze" from the other side of the track either. <g>

DON'T go to small claims or superior court on your own if you file a suite. Take an attorney with you. Make the client pay for all collection/court fees if you win.

DO sit down for an hour with your attorney, and design your disclaimers/warrenty/basic contracts/collection letters/NON-DISCLOSURE agreements.

DO make any one you talk to a
