It's strange that it works for you. Though of course the textbox refreshes the grid and is showing the current record somewhere in the grid (yes, that works fine), I don't have the possibility to determine the actual RELATIVEROW without the grid having the focus; thus have no mechanism to scroll down until the current record is displayed on the first row.

I'm very curious why it seems to work for you, but not for me. We must be missing something here. Let's work this out. If you make an incremental search form. One with a grid and the incremental search textbox. Bound the grid to the table. and let's roll.

Do you confirm the behaviour i've described or does it seem to work for you ?
